Hadley turns 2!!

I can't believe she is 2! Crazy how time flies. My dad brought my mom down to Vegas to hang out for the week so we decided to do Had's party. Aunt Brit decided to come for a visit and helped me SO much with the party! We had a poor man's pool party. They loved the water balloons and the cold hose water. Then it was time for presents. She'd open one and want to play with it without opening the rest of her presents. I asked her if she wanted to open more and she told me no. So good thing she had some friends to help her. She got some way fun things, it was a fun day.

Happy Mothers Day

I had a great mothers day. I got to spend it with my family. I have the best family and are so grateful for all they do for us. They are always so thoughtful, supportive and just fun to be with! We went to the temple, dinner, movie and played games with our cousins that were in town!
My brother Kade woke up with Hadley, got her changed and fed and let me sleep in! It was the best mothers day gift ever! I don't know who loved it more, me, Had or Brandon. Cause he slept in too!

Then after church we got to talk to my brother Kason who is on a mission. It was awesome! He sent me hand made Taylor Swift tickets. Almost as good as the real thing!

I'm so grateful to be a mother! I'm grateful for my mom, grandma's and my mother in law. They are great examples to me and I love them. Had brings me so much joy, she is so entertainig. Here are some things Hadley is doing or saying right now that make me laugh every day!

*If she needs my attention she says, "Pssst, mom"

*She love diesels and will say, "Look, big truck mom"

*She tells me everyday that daddy is at work.

*When she gets locked out of the bathroom she runs to tell me that someone is pooping.

*She loves babies, movies, books, swimming, puppies and popsicles.

*When I ask her questions she says, "No way"

*When she wants you to get her she'll say, "I get you"

*She says her last name is Donald.

*She can climb up our pantry.

*If I don't answer her right away she'll call me "ki"

*She loves airplanes.

Happy Birthday to me!

I had such a great birthday this year! I love my friends! It started out in the beginning of the week with them taking me to Cheesecake Factory for dessert. Then I've had a few lunch and breakfast dates! Phone calls, cards and some nice gifts! Thanks girls, I love you!



So most of you know we have a table for little people. Seriously! I had to take a picture to prove to Brandon. This is the one thing he brought to our marriage was this table! And it has taken me almost 5 years to convince him we need a new one. I love our old table and its served its purpose but I'm ready to move on! Whats embarrassing is when you invite people over for dinner who have kids and you don't have a chair or space for them at your dang table! So today I went to lunch with some friends and I come home to Roses! It was awesome! Then 15 min later a big old delivery truck pulls up and the guy asks me if I have a delivery... I'm like no, but its my birthday! And he says Happy birthday I hope you wanted a new table cause its in my truck.

THANK YOU BRANDON! I love you so much and you are the best! My birthday has fallen on finals for law school every year so its been kinda on the back burner. But thanks for making up for it! Every birthday/anniversary I always guess wrong. But you did good this year and now I'm scared for your birthday because now it has to be something good!

Easter

Biggest Loser here we come! I can't stop eating CANDY. I got brandon a huge bag of his favorite gummy worms. We added up the calories and the whole bag is 7500 calories!

We had a fun Easter with my family. They got here on Sat and we went to dinner then to town square to walk around and shop. Hadley loves it there because she can see the airplanes coming in. And to finish the night up we stopped and got slurpies!

I love these pictures of Hadley and her Papa. She'll just talk his ear off. I swear he's her favorite person! Except now she calls him Kelt. Its so funny.



This is what grandma and grandpa brought her. She wouldn't smile because her mouth is full of candy.

She calls my mom "mygam" and she loved playing and coloring with her. She thinks grandma is funny.Hadley would not take a nap. So I told her to lay down or go to her crib so she ran to Papa and fell right asleep.

Hadley's Favorite things...

Hadley is getting too big too fast! I love it and hate it at the same time. She is so funny and loves to make you laugh, she says the craziest things. At church during sacrament she drops her book and says, " Oh crap." Nice, I know. We have a lot to work on! Anyways, here are her favorite things right now.

She still loves shoes! She's pretty impressive how she can strut her stuff in them. She walks better than I do and can even run in them.



and Tumbling. The first week you could totally tell her and Nate were the youngest ones there. But its so fun to watch them get the hang of it week to week. They'll remember what to do. This is their favorite part at the end when Miss Tiffany gives them stamps and stickers.

hAdDeRs

Hadley loves shoes lately. She was pretty proud of herself for getting dad's and actually being able to walk in them.


Hadley and Nate started a tumbling class. It is the best entertainment ever! For parents and the kids. My camera died right after I took this one so more pictures will come later.


This girl is a climber! She climbs on everything. I don't know where this kid get this from, But she is obsessed with tables. She climbs up any table and dances, slides back and forth on her belly and does all sorts of tricks. This is what usually gets her in time out! I'll be out of the room for 1 minute and come back in and she is jumping up and down on the table.


When she hears Brandon open the garage when he comes home from work, she immediately runs to the door and goes out in the garage. Tip: Stick with the round door nobs. She can open all of our doors. So on this night, she ran out and instead of wanting daddy she wanted to play in the car. You can see the car from our kitchen table so we just propped open the door and left her in there while we ate. It was a nice peaceful dinner.

Thankful Thursday

Ok, so I'm really bored right now and January must be a boring month because there are no pictures or things to post about. So we'll try this instead.

*I'm thankful for Brandon. He is so patient with me, fun to be with, a great dad, smart, hard worker, loving, and makes me laugh.

*I'm thankful for Hadley. I love the talking phase so far! She is entertaining. I love when she asks, "You k? You crying?" She asks her doll that a lot but mostly after she throws her. I love when you ask her questions if the answer is no she hurries and shuts her eyes and shakes her head no. I love that she told grandma to "be nice" the other day when Hadley got in trouble. I love when she asks "wheres dad?" I think its hilarious when I go get her from bed and she says, "Poop pooh, ewwwww" and points to her bum. I love it when she tells her doll "no" and "cute".
(this list could go on. just cause her list is bigger right now does not mean I love her more than Bran)

*I'm thankful for our families. And all the wonderful examples we have in our lives.

*I'm thankful for friends. Its so hard to leave friends or watch them move. And then with kids and husbands we just get so busy. But we do love all our friends and miss the ones we left or have left us behind!

*I'm thankful for the gospel. I'm thankful for callings, for the chance to get out of our comfort zones and grow.

Christmas

We had a great Christmas! We spent it with the McDonald side up in Salt Lake. This was our first year with a "real job" and not a month long school break. So our Christmas went really fast. We drove up late Christmas eve. Spent Christmas day opening presents, playing games, eating and the best part was talking to my brother who is on a mission!! The next day we all woke up sick and thanks to the snow we couldn't drive our car to go visit anyone. That night my father in law took us to temple square and we took a carriage ride around it. Its my favorite. Then we headed up to Brandon's sister and her husband's house and played games and stayed there. On Saturday was the McDonald family Christmas party and on Sunday morning we were headed to St. George. We had Christmas dinner with my family and opened gifts, cut some hair then headed back to Vegas! My mom made Hadley this ABC quiet book for church. It is so cute, but what we didn't know is that Haddy knows all of her letters but "S". We were shocked when we were flipping through it and she pointed and said the letters.
