11 months!  

No way that this little babe turns 1 next month!  I can't believe it! 

He is so fun and his little personality is really starting to come out more and more!  He is pretty goofy and we love it. 

This month he:

-got his first hair cut.  He did great and just sat there and didn't make a peep.

-starting climbing on everything

-is getting good with the stairs and turning around to go down

-loves when Hadley holds him and he arches back in her arms so she will spin him

-loves kids, loves watching them and following them around

-says "dadda" and gets so excited when Brandon comes home

-we finally broke down and made him cry it out at nights.  He did great!  It took 3 nights and the first night he cried for like 20 min.  The 2nd night was longer but he did great and then the 3rd was for 10 min.  He hasn't woke up in the middle of the night since!  And he still loves us!

-he loves eating what everyone else is eating.  

-still naps twice a day

Day 3:

After breakfast we drove up to the northern part of the Island to see the Nakaele Blowhole.  

It was pretty amazing.

We ate lunch and walked around Whaler's Village and planned on spending the day at the beach there.  But the wind was so bad that it would hurt when it hit you so we decided to leave and go shop and walk around Lahaina.

Day 4:

This pretty much sums up day 4!  We love big beach!  

There was a family there by us and the older man with them was taken away on a stretcher and neck brace.  We didn't see what happened but we think a wave knocked him down.  He couldn't move his feet and it was so sad to watch.  

 

Maui

 {June 5th - 12th}

Day 1:

We have been talking about going somewhere just the two of us for a few years and it finally happened!  Brandon surprised me and cashed in our sky miles, arranged with my mom to watch the kids with out me knowing and booked our trip!  

We took the red eye and arrived in Maui on the 5th at 8:30 a.m.  After we got our car we headed to Kihei and ate breakfast.  Then headed to Wailea where we were staying and checked into the resort. We hurried and changed into our swimming suits and spent the rest of the afternoon by the pool. 

That night we walked around the shops at Wailea, ate dinner at the Burger place and went to bed early, we were so tired from not sleeping the night before on the plane!

 Day 2:  

After breakfast we headed to the beach at our resort and spent the morning there.  It was fabulous!  After lunch we went to Big Beach which is our favorite but it was so crowded with a bunch of high school kid so we didn't stay too long! 

 We new we wanted to do a Luau this time, so that night we went to the Luau at the Marriott.  It was great and I would highly recommend that one because the ocean is the backdrop so the view is so pretty.  It was a fun night!
